Red Meat, the company behind Greek street-food chain Jackaroo, more than quadrupled revenue in 2025, its first full year after Evergood entered the company’s share capital. Sales reached €31.44 million, up from €7.48 million in 2024.

Gross profit increased to €11 million from €3.32 million. EBITDA almost doubled to €2.51 million, from €1.31 million, although the rapid expansion of the business pushed costs sharply higher and weighed on bottom-line profitability.

Net profit falls despite revenue surge

Net profit declined to €578,000, from €953,000 a year earlier, while pre-tax profit fell to €766,000 from €1.24 million. Distribution expenses increased more than fivefold to €10.30 million, compared with €1.96 million in 2024, while administrative expenses rose to €659,000 from €116,000.

Net finance costs reached €338,000, up from just €7,000, and depreciation climbed to €1.41 million from €58,000 as Red Meat expanded its physical network and asset base. Bank debt stood at €2.07 million at the end of 2025, compared with €117,000 a year earlier. Equity increased to €1.65 million from €1.08 million.

Jackaroo expands beyond Athens

Red Meat added three Jackaroo locations in Attica during 2025, opened another in Thessaloniki and introduced a mobile food truck, as the group also began diversifying beyond its core Jackaroo brand.

During the final quarter of 2025 it opened the first Krispy location in Athens and launched La Jacka, its Italian street-food concept, in Piraeus. Expansion continued in 2026, with Jackaroo entering Patras and Krispy moving outside Attica through openings in Heraklion and Ioannina.

Red Meat has also introduced Pizzaroo, created by Jackaroo founder and Red Meat CEO Michalis Mantzouranis. The concept launched in March 2026 as a delivery-focused ghost kitchen, with its first physical location scheduled to open in December.
