Motor Oil Group posted €7.524 billion in revenue in the first half of 2026, up 42.9% from €5.266 billion a year earlier. The increase was driven by an 18.1% rise in sales volumes, to 7.39 million tonnes from 6.26 million tonnes, combined with an approximately 43% increase in average petroleum product prices in US dollar terms.

Motor Oil remained heavily export-oriented during the period. Foreign and marine sales represented 78.1% of total sales volumes in H1 2026, up from 71.6% a year earlier. The contribution of industrial activity also increased to 85.7%, from 81.8% in H1 2025.

Gross profit nearly triples

Motor Oil’s gross profit before depreciation reached €1.252 billion, compared with €430.5 million in H1 2025. That represents an increase of 190.9%. The improvement reflected stronger industrial sales and significantly higher refining margins, particularly for gasoline and diesel.

Group EBITDA increased to €1.047 billion, from €387.4 million a year earlier, a growth of 170.3%. At parent-company level, EBITDA reached €830.7 million, up 215.6% from €263.2 million in H1 2025.

Net profit exceeds €689 million

Motor Oil’s profit after tax rose to €689.3 million in the first half of 2026. A year earlier, the group had reported net profit of €163.4 million. The increase means net earnings more than quadrupled year-on-year.
