Evergood, the organized foodservice arm of Vivartia, completed the EUR 10 million acquisition of a 60% stake in Red Meat S.A., the company behind the rapidly expanding Jackaroo brand.

Evergood closed 2025 with consolidated revenue of EUR 300 million, up 13.1% from EUR 265 million a year earlier, while total system sales exceeded EUR 375 million, compared with EUR 341 million in 2024. Reported EBITDA reached EUR 40 million.

The addition of Jackaroo expands a portfolio that already includes Goody’s Burger House, Everest, Flocafé Espresso Room and La Pasteria, as well as production businesses Hellenic Catering and Olympic Catering.

Jackaroo is one of Greece’s fastest-growing restaurant brands

According to its latest published financial statements, Jackaroo generated revenue of EUR 7.48 million in 2024, compared with just EUR 413,000 a year earlier. Net profit climbed to approximately EUR 953,000 from EUR 57,000, while total assets reached EUR 5.79 million and shareholders’ equity exceeded EUR 1 million.

At the acquisition date, Red Meat reported EUR 7.61 million in assets and EUR 6.29 million in liabilities, resulting in net assets of approximately EUR 1.32 million. Yet Evergood recognized goodwill of EUR 9.21 million. The group’s net cash outflow amounted to EUR 8.87 million after taking into account EUR 1.13 million in cash acquired together with the business.

The valuation relied on discounted future cash flows using an 8.34% discount rate and a perpetual growth assumption of 2%, while the trademarks were valued using the internationally recognized Relief from Royalty methodology, commonly applied in brand valuations.

Jackaroo continues to expand after joining Vivartia

System sales generated by Jackaroo reached EUR 24.8 million during 2025, while the network expanded from five restaurants at the time of the transaction to seven by year-end, including six locations in the Athens metropolitan area and one in Thessaloniki.

Expansion has continued throughout 2026. The chain now operates eight restaurants across Attica, another in Thessaloniki and recently opened its first outlet in Patras, replacing a former Goody’s location in the city centre.

A portfolio of new concepts is taking shape

Jackaroo is no longer the group’s only growth vehicle, as Red Meat has begun building a broader ecosystem of complementary brands aimed at different consumer segments.

Krispy by Jackaroo, initially launched in central Athens, has already expanded to Heraklion, Crete, inside the city’s intercity bus terminal, and later to Ioannina. The company has also introduced La Jacka in Piraeus, a concept inspired by Italian street food.

Pizzaroo, the pizza-focused brand began operating as a delivery-only ghost kitchen in March 2026, with management planning to open its first physical restaurant before the end of the year.
