L’Innominato Hellas, the Nike retailer in Greece, reached a turnover high of €34.43 million in 2025, up 1.84% from €33.80 million in 2024, but profitability took a hit from the launch of its flagship Nike Athens Stadiou store.
Pretax profit shrank 25.6% to €4.65 million from €6.25 million, while net profit fell to €3.60 million from €4.89 million. The gross margin slipped to 44.4% from 47.59%, and staff costs rose 10% to €3.15 million.
Stadiou flagship store bet
The August 2025 opening of Nike Athens Stadiou in the Arsakeio Stoa added a 624 sqm premium experience store with Nike and Jordan collections, digital services and athleisure appeal. It brought the network to 10 stores across prime locations like Ermou, Attica, Golden Hall and Patras.
Depreciation jumped 48% to €918,701 from store investments, and inventories rose 11.75% to €5.68 million due to higher purchases and slower sales. The balance sheet stays debt-free, with net cash up to €11.02 million from €8.41 million.
The sportswear retail sector grew 8.3% to €936 million in 2025, nearly doubling from 2021’s €643 million. L’Innominato’s modest gain lags the pace, highlighting the Stadiou transition costs.
