Uber Eats is set to enter the Greek market this year, as part of a broader expansion strategy targeting seven new European countries in 2026. The rollout includes Romania, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Austria, and the Czech Republic.
According to Courtney Tims, Regional General Manager for Western and Southern Europe at Uber Eats, the company sees significant growth potential in these new markets. The platform operates globally in more than 10,000 cities and partners with over one million restaurants and merchants.
Uber Eats had suspended operations in several international markets in June 2020 as part of a broader restructuring effort. At the time, the company stated that the closed operations represented approximately 1% of gross bookings and 4% of first-quarter 2020 losses.
