Public Group is advancing its three-year investment plan totaling EUR 10 million, with a focus on expanding and modernizing its physical store network across Greece and Cyprus. By the end of 2025, three new large-format stores will be added to its portfolio.
The recently opened locations in Ilion and Heraklion, Crete, are already reporting strong performance. Building on this momentum, three additional stores are set to launch within the year at Smart Park, Patissia, and a second flagship location in Corfu. These stores will offer a wide range of readily available tech products and home appliances.
Looking ahead to 2026, two more stores are confirmed for Attica and the Peloponnese. Including upcoming locations in Greece and Limassol, Cyprus, the retailer’s total number of new stores will reach ten.
Fully renovated stores to open this summer
This summer, Public will also reopen fully renovated stores in Maroussi (49 Kifisias Ave.) and Agia Paraskevi (402 Mesogeion Ave.), designed to elevate the customer experience and spotlight its growing home appliances category. Meanwhile, the Peristeri store (27 Ethnikis Antistaseos) is expanding with an additional floor dedicated to large appliances and consumer electronics.
Renovations are also underway at both Patras stores, with completion expected in the fall. Additionally, the integration of home appliances into locations in Piraeus, Ioannina, and Volos is helping to diversify the product mix and extend comprehensive offerings to more regions.
Once the expansion is complete, the Public store network will total 64 locations, 55 of which will carry home appliances. Overall, the retailer’s footprint will exceed 100,000 square meters.
