PropTech startup Protio secures EUR 1 million in new funding round

Innovative real estate platform Protio has successfully closed a new funding round worth EUR 1 million. The round attracted a strong roster of prominent investors, including Lars Rasmussen, co-founder of Google Maps, and Loggerhead Ventures – a Thessaloniki-based venture capital fund.

Investors include the Zein family office, Argyris Kaninis (co-founder of Softomotive, acquired by Microsoft), the Khoury family office (leaders of Middle East construction giant CCC), Haris Sitsoglou, CEO at Axia Ventures, and Investing For Purpose, which also contributed to shaping Protio’s impact strategy. Genesis Ventures, an early backer, also participated in the round.

The fresh capital will be used to strengthen Protio’s technological infrastructure, enabling the development of new tech solutions, geographic expansion, and continued growth of its partner ecosystem. One key initiative includes the launch of a new partner-facing application.

Protio is the first digital platform in Greece specialized in property renovation and energy upgrades, offering data-driven tools that unlock the untapped potential of the Greek real estate market.
