Just one month after entering the Romanian market, Funky Buddha, the flagship brand of retail group Altex S.A., has launched an online store for local consumers. The brand’s first physical store is located in the ParkLake Shopping Center in Bucharest.
Funky Buddha, which currently operates 71 stores across Greece and Cyprus, is now introducing Romanian shoppers to its Spring/Summer collection, offering a wide range of apparel, accessories, and footwear for both men and women.
The online platform targets active consumers aged 25–44, with a strong interest in music, arts, sports, and travel—an audience aligned with the brand’s core values of freedom, individuality, and ecological awareness.
In the short to medium term, Funky Buddha aims to expand its footprint in Romania’s major cities, backed by a multi-channel strategy encompassing retail outlets, e-commerce, outlets, and third-party marketplaces.
The Romanian market entry is a key step in the brand’s broader European expansion strategy, positioning Funky Buddha as one of Greece’s most ambitious fashion exports.
