The TIGGO 9 CSH is entering Europe through a coordinated, relay-style launch tour. The sequence began in Hungary on 24 November, continued in Romania on 25 November and in Czechia on 28 November, with Greece set to host the final stage later this month.
Positioned as the brand’s technological showcase, the TIGGO 9 CSH is built on Chery’s dedicated “Tiger Leap” T2X platform, designed to deliver high-end hybrid performance and everyday usability.
The Chery Super Hybrid system pairs a dedicated 1.5T hybrid engine with a 3DHT transmission, enabling 580 Nm of combined torque and 0–100 km/h in 5.4 seconds. The total driving range reaches up to 1,400 km, including 140 km of pure electric range (WLTC).
The T2X platform integrates 85% high-strength steel, up to 10 airbags, L2 ADAS features and an IP68-rated battery. Also, the intelligent all-wheel-drive system distributes torque in real time, improving grip on winding, wet or uneven European roads.
Advanced acoustic insulation and an optimised chassis keep cabin noise to a minimum, as, with a 70.4% space utilisation rate and three-seat rows, the SUV is designed for large families. The EZE one-touch sliding function eases access to the third row.
Chery’s decision to launch in Romania, Hungary, Czechia and Greece is based on the fast-evolving nature of these emerging European markets, which show rising adoption rates for new energy vehicles.
